PETITION: MAXIMUM penalty to the killer of Ella the Deer of Kansas City’s Elmwood Cemetery

PETITION: MAXIMUM penalty to the killer of Ella the Deer of Kansas City’s Elmwood Cemetery.
Link: https://www.causes.com/actions/1759532-maximum-penalty-to-the-killer-of-ella-the-deer-of-kansas-citys-elmwood-cemetery
Phoenix M. Vankirk - as named in a news story must be

given the MAXIMUM penalty over the killing of innocent tame Elmwood Cemetery deer Ella on August 4th 2013.
Mr Vankirk has only been issued a ticket for taking a deer out of season, a code violation punishable by a fine of $1,000 and a year in jail.
This punishment is not nearly enough for his taking of innocent Ella's life, and we urge that you take another look into this crime and then charge Mr Vankirk appropriately over his selfish and heinous act of animal cruelty.
Ella lived happily in the Cemetery grounds, a place she had called home since her birth.
Ella was killed in her home when Mr Vankirk jumped the Cemetery fence and hid until he could take a shot at Ella.
Ella was an innocent victim, and her killer needs to be punished for her death.
ELLA was a tame Deer and a well loved member of the local community.
Ella lived within the Elmwood Cemetery grounds a place she had called home since her birth.
This innocent loving Deer was killed by Mr Phoenix M. Vankirk.

This is a short story detailing the stray dog problem in Detroit. Did you know there are 50,000 homeless dogs with only 4 animal control officers to handle the problem in Detroit?
For more info go to www.detroitdogrescue.com
GREAT STORY from Penny Eims -Dog News Examiner
This 2011 story gives great information, that really confirms that DETROIT really does have a dirty little secret.
The Discovery Channel worked for a year, following stray dogs around Detroit, documenting the various packs that had formed and learning about how these abandoned dogs survived.
But when the documentary was presented to the City of Detroit, officials decided to shut down production.
The officials claim that the directive to shut down production stemmed from a need to protect the public, but some suspect that the documentary would expose this immense problem to the rest of the nation and cause a further blight on an already struggling city - something the city may want to avoid.

So what can people do with this information?
How can this tremendous problem be remedied?
Individuals can email , the mayor of Detroit, and let him know that this situation must be addressed - it can not be ignored.

STOP our family dog's losing their lives to a " dog buy back scheme" Dog's are NOT disposable items. We say NO to any proposed "dog buy back scheme".

STOP our family dog's losing their lives to a " dog buy back scheme"

Dog's are NOT disposable items. We say NO to any proposed "dog buy back scheme".
As tragic as this little boy’s death is, the issue is about responsible ownership of ALL DOGS.
It should not be about extinguishing large breeds that are perceived as “vicious.”
Dog attacks do not just involve pitties and mastiffs.
There are plenty of instances where children have been attacked or killed by the family’s collie, basset, or retriever.
Responsible pet ownership is the key. To train dogs to be part of the family, to always supervise children around dogs, to restrict dogs that may be unpredictable from young children (who are also unpredictable), and to not set up a dangerous situation.
To be proactive, rather than reactive.
To suggest a solution of killing specific breeds because of several horrible incidents is completely off-base, ineffective and unnecessary.
A "dog buy back scheme" is not the answer.

This is what i think.
Do you think people should be allowed to keep dangerous dog breeds as pets?
My Answer : Just - what is a dangerous dog breed?
Do you think Australians would part with their dogs in exchange for cash?
Answer : yes, sadly some would.  I myself - would NOT.
Should owners be held criminally responsible for the actions of their animals?
Answer : YES - absolutely!

In July, 2013, a young fawn who was temporarily kept at an animal shelter before transfer to a wildlife rehabilitation facility was seized and killed by a force of 13 DNR wardens and sheriff's deputies.
This is an example of law enforcement gone mad.
Please contact Governor Scott Walker to demand the removal of Wisconsin DNR head Cathy Stepp, along those involved in the killing. Here is Walker's contact info:

In memory Of Giggles

In memory Of Giggles we Pledge to help the Society of St Francis Shelter in Kenosha Wisconsin..

The Society of St Francis Animal Shelter is a non-profit no-kill shelter dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned pets through adoption. Animals are only killed to end suffering from terminal illness.
A few weeks ago this little shelter was raided and a little innocent baby Deer was killed by 9 DNR Agents and 4 Deputy Sheriffs.
A dozen armed agents raid animal shelter to execute captive baby deer!
THIS IS DISGUSTING CRUELTY!
KENOSHA, WI -- An animal shelter was swarmed with armed government agents after employees began caring for a baby deer.

This is what we would like>>

PLEASE SHARE, to help support the push for a public enquiry into RSPCA NSW. The animals can't speak up, we must speak for them.
If RSPCA has nothing to hide, it can start by welcoming a public enquiry into its activities.
